DLP Power Pack Release Notes V1.6.1 to V1.6.5

This is a minor release with a couple of minor improvements and an enhancement to the download tracker CSV exports.

Release notes for V1.6.4 – 15th Dec 2025

  • Bug fix – front end uploading: Custom meta fields added to individual documents were incorrectly listed for use on the forms.

Release notes for V1.6.3 – 11th Dec 2025

  • Bug fix – front end uploading: Categories and tag selections kept their values after submitting a document. When uploading as an anonymous user the upload button didn’t re-enable itself after submitting.

  • Multi Document Download: Power Pack now checks the DLP setting for button position and can now add it above the library

Release notes for V1.6.1 – 10th Nov 2025

  • Improvement: Pending Documents didn’t appear in the Taxonomy Filters list
  • Improvement: Document categories in upload / edit forms now show their parent in brackets. Child (Top Parent > Second Parent)
  • Download Tracking: Added additional detail exports for all time and month views
  • Download Tracking: IP addresses are now masked on exports, but kept in admin view for future IP filtering (if required)

Improvement: Taxonomy Filters List

Pending documents were not previously listed in the custom taxonomy filters shown on the All Documents screen, which made filtering on pending anonymous downloads tricky. The filter has now been improved to list pending documents.

Improvement: Parent Category (in brackets)

Larger libraries with year folders (2024 / 2025 etc) as sub categories of parents previously looked the same. This has now been improved to include its full parent structure in brackets.

With Parent > Child 1 > 2024 and Parent > Child 2 > 2024, the category lists will now show:

  • 2024 (Parent > Child 1)
  • 2024 (Parent > Child 2)

Download Tracking: Additional Exports

The “Monthly Download Summary” and “Download Summary” (a single month) screens now include an “Export Detailed Records” button.

This will generate a more detailed download export, including the Document Authors name (not the uploading user).

Download Tracking: IP Address Masking

The IP address field has also been masked in these exports, hiding the last section for privacy. For example: 123.456.789.012 would now be 123.456.789.xxx

The full IP address can still be seen on an individual document’s “view details”, in case of future IP download filtering / blocking functionality.
