AI Voice Profiles are writing style templates that shape every piece of content your AI generates. Instead of generic output, a Voice Profile captures your tone, rhythm, and phrasing — so the result sounds like you, or your client, rather than a machine.
Each profile stores four things: a description of your writing style, recurring patterns the AI should preserve, phrases it should never use, and optional guidance for specific platforms like blogs or email.
How Samples Teach the AI Your Voice
The foundation of any Voice Profile is real writing — samples you’ve already produced in your own words. You can add up to five samples, each tagged with a register: Casual, Explanatory, Enthusiastic, Frustrated, or Persuasive.
These become voice exemplars. When the AI generates content, it references them to match your register and rhythm — not just your general topic, but the specific way you open sentences, how long your paragraphs run, and whether you lean on em-dashes or keep punctuation minimal.
What Gets Stored in a Profile
A finished Voice Profile contains:
- Style Notes — A description of your sentence structure, rhythm, formality level, and overall feel
- Signature Moves — Recurring patterns to preserve (e.g. “Opens with a concrete verb. Uses em-dashes instead of parentheses.”)
- Avoid List — Phrases and AI tells that should never appear (e.g. “it’s worth noting”, three-item bullet lists)
- Platform Guidance — Optional per-platform notes for blog, email, social, and so on
How the Profile Is Used During Generation
When you select a Voice Profile in the AI Writer sidebar, it’s injected into every generation request as a structured block before the AI writes a single word. It receives your style notes, sample exemplars, signature patterns, and avoid list all at once.
This happens server-side — your writing samples are never exposed in the browser. The result is content that consistently matches the voice you’ve defined, across every post, email, or social update you generate.
Note: Any user with post editing access can select a Voice Profile in the sidebar. Creating and managing profiles requires administrator access.
