These settings control which fields appear on the frontend create/edit forms. All fields are shown by default. Uncheck a field to hide it from the frontend forms.
Excerpt
Shows a text field for a short summary of the document.
Expiry Date
Shows a date picker for when the document expires or should be reviewed.
Content / Description
Shows a rich text editor for detailed document description.
Note: This is different from the excerpt – content can be longer and include formatting.
Document Status
Shows status selection (Draft, Published, etc.).
Caution: Allowing users to change status can let them publish directly without moderation.
Featured Image
Shows an image upload field for a document thumbnail or preview image.
Publication Date
Shows a date picker to set when the document was published.
Expiry Date
Shows a date picker for document expiration.
Document Authors
Shows a field to select or enter document authors.
Categories
Shows category checkboxes for organizing documents.
Tags
Shows a tag field for adding keywords to documents.
Password Protection
Shows a field to set password protection on documents.
