Release notes for 2.1.2 – 10th April 2026

  • Added: “Unsecure Download” bulk action on the Documents screen moves files back to the public uploads folder and restores a direct download URL
  • Fixed: Image files (JPEG, PNG, etc.) uploaded to a secure document were served via a direct protected-folder URL that returned a 404 instead of being routed through the authenticated proxy

Release notes for 2.1.1 – 9th April 2026

  • Lead Capture: Documents accessed via their direct permalink now show the DLP lead capture form when lead capture is enabled, preventing bypass of the gate.
  • Secure Downloads: The secure download proxy endpoint now checks lead capture status before streaming a file, redirecting uncaptured visitors to the document page to complete the form first.
  • Bug fix: Browser console error showing up when no datatable was found on the page

Release notes for 2.1 – 30th March 2026

  • Lead Form Builder: Custom field builder for the lead capture form — add text, select, and checkbox fields with drag-and-drop ordering.
  • Lead Form Builder: “Pretty Lead Email” setting replaces the plain notification with a styled HTML email that includes all custom lead fields.
  • Lead Form Builder: Lead submissions are saved to a local database table and viewable in the admin.
  • Lead Form Builder: Webhook integration forwards lead submissions to external services such as Zapier, Make.com, or a custom CRM.
  • Secure Downloads: Document files are moved to a web-inaccessible protected folder and served exclusively via an authenticated WordPress proxy.
  • Secure Downloads: Per-category “Secure File Storage” toggle — new uploads go directly to the protected folder without any extra steps.
  • Secure Downloads: Global “Secure Document Uploads” setting in Category Permissions applies protection to all new document uploads site-wide.
  • Secure Downloads: “Secure Download” bulk action on the Documents screen moves existing files into the protected folder in one step.
  • Secure Downloads: File Location column on the Documents screen shows 🔒 Secure or 🔓 Public status for every document at a glance.
  • Secure Downloads: File Location dropdown filter lets you quickly surface and act on unprotected documents.
  • Dashboard: Summary stats for lead capture submissions and download activity added to the dashboard.
