Multisite Support

Something To Say v1.0.1 was single site only so I started a new copy that fully supported multisite the beginning and ported over parts of V1.0 while slightly improving the UI.

Multisite: Network Messages Overview

The Network’s Super Admin can access this overview screen from the Network Admin dashboard. It provides a simple summary of all messages that have been sent, but not the contents.

Multisite: Settings

Some Networks have the same users across all sites. To keep messaging simple the Super Admin from their Network Admin dashboard can enable the “Display Main Site Users Only” option.

When sending messages from a site the Users drop down will only contain users that belong to Site 1. By default this is not enabled.

Multisite: Network Broadcast

When sending a New Message as a Super Admin you can check Network Broadcast and select one or more sites to send the message to.

By default you can select an individual site, followed by one or more Users or a Role.

With Network Broadcast checked the Site drop down swaps to Target Sites. Network Broadcast will disable the User selection, so a Role will need to be chosen instead.
